Data threat with Text from the clipboard
We are many times using the CTRL+C or RightClick->Copy function to cut/copy/paste data and text from one application to another. Remember, there is security hazard involved in doing so. If you are copying sensitive data (like credit card numbers, PIN nos or passwords etc) and it is in the clipboard while you are surfing the web, then there is a possibility that your data is accessible from the next to the web site by a combination of Javascripts and ASP.
There are a number of hacker websites, spyware, malware trojans and worms which can contain this malicious script and steal your data. Your system should also have an original antivirus application, like quickheal and also antispyware softwares. If you need help on antivirus and antispyware software products, you can always call us for your queries.
So, be careful while using with ctrl+c. Better still do the following fix and you should feel safe.
Fortunately, the fix for this is also quite simple:
1. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security
2. Click on Custom Level. See the image here.

3. In the security settings, click to Disable the “Allow Paste Operations via Script.” That will keep your clipboard contents private. See image below.

So don't keep private sensitive data in the clipboard while you are surfing the web. It is extremely easy to extract that data which was stored in the clipboard and steal that sensitive information.
