You now have to run this utility tool so that all files are in one place, which will be easier and faster for windows OS to retrieve when called for. Also it will make your hard disk life longer, because it will have to run occasionally. Also recommended here, is that you install sufficient ram or memory to ease the load on your hard disk. A regular run of this utility will make your system performance top notch and keep it that way.

3) Repair HardDisk Errors with "CheckDisk"

Although you get a 5 year warranty for a hard drive, you have to take great care of your data. To make sure your hard drive stays healthy run this small nice utility called "CheckDisk" This utility will find hard drive errors, pc errors and fix them, including bad sectors. (I recommend changing your hard disk once you get a bad sector error) This will further peak your system performance. 

4) Check for any Spyware or Malware installed on your PC

Everybody hates spywares! Once your system is infected with this Spyware it may be very difficult for you to remove. You have to download AntiSpyware software on your PC and makes sure it is deleted. I recommend you invest in this utility as you never know when the next Spyware attack comes. Some Spywares take away your confidential data (like credit card, bank ac info etc) which is very risky.
